Learning Objectives
At the end of this clerkship, the student should be able to:
- Describe the concept and types of drug distribution system employed in hospital pharmacy services.
- List and explain the activities and responsibility of pharmacist in the inpatient pharmacy and satellite pharmacy setting.
- Identify and describe the record systems and documentation being practiced at Satellite Pharmacy and ward supply.
- Describe and explain the hospital policy and procedures related to the drug distribution system within inpatient pharmacy settings.
- Identify and provide interventions for each prescription related problems in an assigned case.
- Communicate competently with patient, ward staff, nurses, doctors and peers.
